Neil Gaiman Presents continues with its next selection, Swordspoint: A Melodrama of Manners By Narrated by
This is an “illuminated” audiobook with sound effects like doors closing, background noise at a restaurant, “the ring of steel”, and a full cast of characters around Kushner’s narration of her 1987 novel. (Elsewhere, Gaiman talked with Salon.com about audiobooks — very much worth checking out!)

I hadn’t seen this in previous years, but the SFFaudio Challenge #6 is open, where if you record a public domain book from their list, you can get a new audiobook. If I had the time, I’d really like to take on Animal Farm — because, well, er… I’ve still not read it in full.

After a huge day of releases last Tuesday, thing have been pretty slow this week. Still, a few things have show up, including:
