In Robin Sloan's wonderful 2012 novel Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, Clark Moffat's fantasy series The Dragon-Song Chronicles seemed so very much like real books that I looked them up in a few places -- and I was certainly not the only one -- before realizing that, duh, they're fictional artifacts of the novel.
