Audiobook release day: Hal Duncan's Vellum: The Book of All Hours and Douglas Hulick's Among Thieves

Posted on 2011-12-30 at 20:18 by Sam

I wasn’t planning on posting today, but then two books popped up which have been high up on my “where’s the audiobook?” list for a while. The first is Vellum: The Book of All Hours By Hal Duncan Narrated by Bernard Setaro Clark For Audible, Inc.:

Duncan’s acclaimed 2005 novel: “It’s 2017 and angels and demons walk the earth. Once they were human; now they are unkin, transformed by the ancient machine-code language of reality itself. They seek The Book of All Hours, the mythical tome within which the blueprint for all reality is transcribed, which has been lost somewhere in the Vellum – the vast realm of eternity upon which our world is a mere scratch.”

The second is Among Thieves: Tale of the Kin Series #1 By Douglas Hulick Narrated By Kirby Heyborne for Tantor Audio:

This one was on my “where’s the audiobook?” list for 2011, so it appears I should have waited another week: “Drothe has been a member of the Kin for years, rubbing elbows with thieves and murderers while smuggling relics on the side. But when an ancient book falls into his hands, Drothe finds himself in possession of a relic capable of bringing down emperors - a relic everyone in the underworld would kill to obtain.”
